A Cape Town street singer from Kommetjie has grabbed herself some global attention after a live performance at TEDxBerlin. Alice Phoebe Lou left Cape Town at the age of 19 to perform on the streets of Berlin in 2013 and made such an impression that she was soon playing sold out gigs. Cut to her latest performance at TEDxBerlin and she’s now being catapulted into the global spotlight.
